You have $1000 in chips in the first round of a tournament. The blinds are $10-$25 and you are holding A  Q  on the button. The Tight player limps under the gun for $25, the Aggressive player raises the pot to $100, and everyone else folds to you on the button. What is your play?
    1. Call the $100
    2. Reraise to $300
    3. Fold
    4. Move all-in
First, we have to remember that whenever the Tight player is in the pot, he has a good hand. The Tight player limps in early position; He is usually never in there with nothing. Also, always be aware that when anyone limps up front, they could have a monster. Our hand could be better than the Aggressive player, but since the Tight player limped up front we won’t take a chance of running into a hand held by him or his reraise. The correct play here is to choose C. fold.

Suppose you have $1000 in chips, the blinds are $25-$50, and you are in the big blind with A  Q . The Tight player raises the pot to $200 in first position and the Solid one call on the button. The small blind folds. What is your play?
    1. Call
    2. Raise the pot to $400
    3. Move all-in
    4. Fold
You have A  Q , a fair hand but not one worth putting lot’s of chips into the pot against players that plays like the Tight one and the Solid one. Choose D. to fold.

You are in first position with $1000 in chips, the blinds are $25-$50. You look down to find Q  Q  and raise the pot to $150. The Reckless player calls behind you and the Aggressive one calls from the big blind, the pot now has $475 in it. The flop comes J  10  9 , the Aggressive player bets $300 into you. What is your play?
    1. Call
    2. Raise to $600
    3. Fold
    4. Move all-in
You have flopped a nice hand, an overpair with an open-end straight draw. The Aggressive player would bet a lot of hands worse than yours. The best play for you is D. move all-in.

The blinds are $25-$50, you have $1000 in chips and sitting in middle position with A  K , everyone folded to you. What is your play?
    1. Raise to $150
    2. Fold
    3. Raise to $300
    4. Call
You have A  and K , also known as big slick. The best no pair hand. It is almost even money against any hand except a pair of aces or kings. Pick A, to make the normal raise to $150.

You are in early position with the 10  10  and have limped for $25. The Aggressive player raised on your immediate left to $75, the reckless player calls the $75 on the button, the big blind calls and you decide to call. The pot now has a total of $325 in it; the flop comes K  10  , the big blind checks to you. What is your play?
    1. Bet $325 the size of the pot.
    2. Check
    3. Bet $600, we have a big hand.
    4. Fold
We have flopped trips a big hand. We are thinking “How can we get the most money in the pot?” Since the Aggressive one is behind us and the Reckless on the button. We know one of them will surely bet, so it is better to choose B and hope that the Aggressive player bets running everyone else into us so we can check raise and win a big pot.
