Texas Holdem – Position

Your sitting spot in relation to the action and the other players at the table is your position.

When all players saw the flop, the first player to the left of the button is holding the first position, then moving around the table … second position, third position, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth, here called the button, the last position.

Having good position is very important since it allows you to act on your hand after seeing how your competitors acted.

It gives you the opportunity to make the most on a good hand, and save money, when you have the worst.
